Sustainability

Sustainable practice in design is our business primary ethos. We will work with you to ensure your project follows a pragmatic and viable approach to sustainable design, following the three pillars of sustainable building practice:

Be Lean: Use Less Energy

  • Being lean is achieved through allowing for natural light to benefit the property to minimise the use of energy and lighting.
  • Using low energy lighting and using building materials that are good at retaining heat.

Be Clean: Supply Energy Efficiently

  • Being clean is achieved through using community heating or combined heat and power.

Be Green: Use Renewable Energy

  • Being green is achieved through the use of renewable/low carbon technology such as photovoltaic cells, solar water heating, wind turbines, ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps, hydro and/or biomass.

Planning Validation Support

We offer a range of services to support with planning validation including external lighting designs, energy strategies and building services statements. We are experienced supporting our clients with validation supporting reports and designs, often developments experience strict conditions including ecology and energy resilience.
